Cartier Model Number Lookup
I purchased an authentic Cartier watch several years ago on eBay from a seller with very high feedback. Though I noticed there were scratches on the underside of the watch, the seller included detailed pictures on the original listing advising that the watch was not stolen. I recently went into the jewelry store to have the battery replaced and walked out feeling the watch was definitely stolen.

The clerk recorded my own information (making me feel like the theif!!) and I walked out feeling awful. I have looked online and can't find any information on how to investigate if this watch is, indeed, stolen. Most all of the serial numbers are readable. Any help would be most appreciated.
